ROXY HAS FOUND HER FOREVER HOME

Roxy has found her happily ever after! She’s already enjoying playing with her older dog brother and is very loved.

Roxy is now 10 months old, still 8 pounds, and is ready to find her forever home!
Roxy is your typical yorkie; sweet, smart, spunky, and a touch stubborn. She’s a bit shy meeting new people, but loves everyone she’s met. She’s been in a home with multiple small dogs and cats, and has done well. This girl loves to play, and must have another small dog in the home to rough house and hang out with (no exceptions- it’s her favorite thing to do). She learns lot from other dogs, so a confident, well adjusted dog would be great, but she just needs a dog friend.
She’s doing well with training and is crate trained for when she’s unsupervised, which will need to continue for the time being.
Roxy is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and just had a negative fecal.
Please help us welcome Roxy to Yorkie Luv Rescue! Roxy is almost 9 months old, 8.2 pounds, and came to us through no fault of her own. Roxy has been battling giardia since her previous owners brought her home as a puppy. She’s been through many, many rounds of treatment, and just completed round 6 of treatment, and her owners made the difficult decision that she would do better elsewhere.
Roxy just came today, and has learned that other animals exist, and she’s been very sheltered from people, so she’s also getting used to other people.
Roxy will need to be spayed, at least a fecal (or more, depending on the results), and possibly other treatment for giardia.
Her foster says that she’s really sweet, but definitely needs confidence and socialization. As you can see from the pictures, she loves pets ❤️!
Her foster is a vet tech with one of our vets and is experienced in sanitizing and treating giardia. Roxy has her isolated part of the yard to do her business, which will be disinfected constantly, along with other things to prevent it from spreading.
We are not accepting applications for this cutie yet, so please watch for her updates!
